Nice place. Beautiful view even on a rainy night. Food was delicious, but wait staff seriously needs to get their act together. Appreciate the gentleman who got our drinks for us when we had not even seen our waitress since we ordered our food.If they fix that it will be a great place to eat!
Unfortunately, as of late May 2019 the lake is at full food pool and pretty much unusable.
Update: Things are back to normal and cleaned up from the flood. The marina has built a new restaurant, and things are better than ever.
Update 2: the marina has been sold to a Texas management company. Back to the old days of absentee ownership.
Nice marina! The ramp is shallow and kinda tight for a boat with a larger trailer. Other than that it was nice and had places to dock while waiting your turn for the ramp.
Only been here in the winter. It looks like this place is really a fun place in the summer. It's a large marina.
Took my boat in for some regular maintance, the prior owner had neglected some things that should have been done. So now I was looking at a 5K bill. Once said and done my final bill was over 11K. The shop had a few hiccups and the boat had to go back twice but the marina stood by their work and the communication was great. Today, a week after having my boat back I received an email from the service manager wanting to see how everything was. Appreciate her and her team.
Love getting phone calls or messages, to come out and scuba dive to retrieve your dropped cell phones, keys, wallets, and whatever you lose in the water... just think, then you didn't just lose everything!!! Hope to hear from yah, if needed!!!
we rented a pontoon for day! The boat ended up breaking down on us and we lost 3 hrs of our time. They said they would refund they said they sent it to our bank and we never received funds. Staff was very rude about the situation and seems annoyed. Won't recommend this rental place to anyone nor will we be visiting that lake again!
Lake was beautiful and very relaxing for 4th of July. We rented a pontoon boat for the day. Great idea, but the boat was a 2007 model and struggled to move relatively fast. It was ok at medium speed. At one point on higher speed (we understand it isn’t a speed boat), the front of the boat was in the water with a lot of water coming on board. For the rest of the day we coasted fairly slowly and stayed in a cove. Also, we were harassed twice by people because we were parked in a handicapped spot. No one’s business, but we have a legitimate, permanent handicapped tag that was clearly posted. Just very rude of the “patrons” “passersby” to even make a comment about it. The second time we were unpacking the car and my husband who is handicapped was safely on the boat.
